Vaccine distrust and misinformation is at an all-time high. One claim is that vaccines are responsible for dementias, like Alzheimer’s Disease. A recent database study may show the exact opposite. A recent large propensity matched retrospective database study found that the risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease was LOWER in persons who received regular influenza vaccines compared to unvaccinated individuals.
